“To fully overcome health concerns and look and feel youthful, it takes a scientific approach, a dedicated team, a personalized treatment plan, time, and perseverance.”
My story may sound a lot like yours. I struggled with chronic stress, gastrointestinal issues, and obesity for more than a decade. As a seasoned healthcare provider for more than 25 years, I had access to the best care available. Yet I was still sick…and tired. I was also sick and tired of spinning my wheels and ending up in the same place I started. I did everything I was told to do – faithfully taking all the medications that were supposed to make me better or help me lose weight – yet I was sicker than when I began.
When I discovered a functional medicine approach to health, I finally started to see the changes I’d been searching for. A personalized, comprehensive approach led me on my journey back to health. I’ve dedicated my life to leading others down their own path to optimal health, radiance, and vitality.
I’m experienced in regenerative aesthetics, or harnessing the body’s own healing potential to repair and rejuvenate damaged or aging cells. Regenerative aesthetics may include the use of platelet-rich plasma, signaling peptides, and natural growth factors.
When I’m not at Benehealth, I enjoy spending my days with my family and fur kids, camping at national parks, hiking, kayaking, and scuba diving. I also enjoy painting with acrylics – mostly messy florals but the occasional landscape has been known to remarkably appear.

“My vision is to make comprehensive, whole person care, the standard of care.”
Throughout my professional journey, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of practice settings, including an internationally-recognized Center of Excellence. Through my experiences in oncology, hospice, and multiple outpatient specialties, I was given a unique look into the human condition and what it means to truly heal. The more I cared for patients facing complex illness, the more my eyes were opened to the dysfunction and fragmentation of our current medical model.
This growing discontent eventually led me to functional medicine. The principles of functional medicine resonate deeply with my knowledge and experience of health and healing. Your body is a single beautifully-connected system, not a combination of parts. And it’s simultaneously connected to everything else in your environment. When we accept and embrace this natural design, we can lead the body into the healing it’s so wonderfully equipped to accomplish.
When I’m not caring for my patients, you’ll find me hanging out with family and friends, exploring nature in the beautiful southwest, practicing yoga, or dreaming up extraordinary recipes in my ordinary kitchen.

“By combining empathy with a patient-centered approach, I strive to improve the lives of those I care for—addressing their needs holistically to create lasting wellness.”
My journey into healthcare began with a passion for understanding the human body and helping others achieve optimal health. As a Physician Associate (PA) and Nutritionist with a background in both acute care and chronic disease management, I’ve seen firsthand how traditional medicine often falls short in addressing the root causes of health challenges. This led me to embrace a more integrative approach focusing on personalized treatment plans that encompass medical care, alternative medicine, and nutrition counseling.
After completing my Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and in Nutritional Sciences, I embarked on a journey to bring more comprehensive care to my patients. Whether working in wound care, urgent care, or virtual services for seniors, I strive to provide patient-centered care that promotes healing and wellness from the inside out. I also integrate functional nutrition and wellness coaching to help clients make lasting lifestyle changes, improve their quality of life, and reach their health goals.
I am dedicated to guiding individuals through their health challenges; whether it's weight loss, chronic disease management, or preventive care. I am most passionate about improving the health of older adults, creating sustainable plans, and empowering patients with the knowledge they need to thrive.
I am committed to going the extra mile to help my patients transform their lives, and I’ll be by their side every step of the way.
When not immersed in my professional endeavors, I love to read, travel, bowl, play pickle ball, and enjoy spending quality time with my partner, family, friends, and three dogs - Luna, Honey, and Mowgli.

Functional Medicine & Aesthetics
Nurse Practitioner
My healthcare journey began in 2008 when I embarked on the path of becoming a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). Since then, my pursuit of higher education has been driven by a steadfast commitment to helping others. From earning my nursing diploma to ultimately achieving the title of Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP), each step has been guided by a passion for compassionate care and continuous learning.
Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of gaining invaluable experience across various healthcare specialties, including long-term care, progressive care, emergency department, trauma, and medical aesthetics. These diverse experiences have not only enriched my clinical skills but have also deepened my understanding of the intricate complexities of patient care.
In navigating the demands of a busy life, I, like many others, have encountered challenges in maintaining optimal wellness. However, my journey has also been a journey of personal growth and self-discovery. The knowledge and insights gained through my professional practice have inspired me to prioritize my own well-being and adopt healthier lifestyle habits. Now, I am driven to share these learnings with others who are seeking to reclaim their balance and vitality.
I am passionate about integrating holistic health principles with the transformative potential of medical aesthetics. I firmly believe in the power of balance—a harmony between inner wellness and outer beauty. This philosophy underscores my approach to patient care, where I strive to tailor holistic treatment plans that honor each individual's unique journey to well-being.
My mission is to empower others to embrace their own path to wellness, recognizing that this journey is deeply personal and multifaceted. By providing compassionate care, evidence-based guidance, and unwavering support, I aim to help individuals unlock their full potential and achieve holistic wellness in body, mind, and spirit.
Together, let us embark on a journey of transformation, where wellness meets aesthetics, and where balance becomes the cornerstone of a vibrant and fulfilling life.

"One of my mottos is: We can all be better versions of ourselves whether it's mentally, emotionally, spiritually, or physically, no matter what age."
Patients find me to be warm, compassionate, friendly, thorough, knowledgeable, very detail-oriented and a good listener. Due to my own health journey where I did not find relief or answers from conventional medicine and treatment, I was able to find answers to many of my medical problems and was able to successfully overcome a lot of my autoimmune health issues using a holistic, functional medicine approach, which baffled my traditional specialists. I bring this passion of providing root cause medicine to help my patients achieve optimal health and wellness by delivering personalized and targeted treatment plans and fostering a collaborative Practitioner-Client relationship.
When I am not caring for my patients, I enjoy spending time with my husband, dog, and chickens, gardening and growing exotic fruit trees, hiking, cooking, and baking (my specialty is Japanese mochi desserts--reduced sugar, of course!), and exploring in our RV.

Mary Lambdin,
MSACN
Health & Wellness Coach, Certified Nutrition Specialist, Candidate
Benehealth Support Team
Mary reached a breaking point at age 19, after realizing that she was living in constant fear of the unknown. After a life-changing experience, she was faced with a soul-centering experience that dramatically shifted her perspective. From this point on, her life trajectory shifted. The way that she viewed her own journey became full of opportunities rather than stifled by limiting beliefs. Figuring out the “why” behind human behavior and learning how to “hack” this in order to live more in alignment became her mission in life. She became fascinated with directly targeting the mind, body, and spirit to optimize overall wellness.
Mary started on her journey of self-discovery by earning her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a specialized minor in Holistic Health Studies. Developing her understanding of the formative theories behind human consciousness sparked her interest in how to target behavior change through a functional approach. Shortly after graduating with her BA, she enrolled in a graduate program to earn an MS in Applied Clinical Nutrition. With this comprehensive knowledge of the human body, learning the effects of generational trauma and social conditioning, and understanding how humans naturally integrate experiences, she seeks to balance physical manifestations by looking well beyond the surface of what’s presented at first glance.
